Holmes lives! I'd not heard and just saw this, they are making a new Holmes movies starting Ian McKellen. McKellen plays a 93 year old Holmes, revisiting a unsolved case. See here for more, and a snappy shot of the new Sherlock: http://wtop.com/220/3660829/McKellen-sh ... d-Sherlock

An awesome idea, but are we being oversaturated with Sherlock Holmes? Personally I think not, but others may not have the same thought.

I'm also in favour of more Ian in any respect.

All they need is Patrick Stewart in there.

While Watson might be the easy choice, I'd go with him as Moriarty. That is, if the two of them could stop laughing and having fun to do the scenes.

Just a couple of bad little boys when the get together

Moriarty would be the obvious choice, but what happened to ... well, either one in the original works? It has been too long since I read any and I don't think I read it all. Of course, the original work does not have to be followed completely.

Obvious yes, but would be fun to see the good guy/bad guy reversal from the X-Men days...if they could stop laughing and get the scenes shot.
